چکیده
A total of 50 cases bovine clinical mastitis in Tripoli were subjected to microbiological examination. Thirty-five bacterial isolates obtained and further identified by using the biochemical tests. Staphylococcus spp. (36%) was predominant causative organism, then E. coli (24%) Streptococcus (6%) Additionally, twelve caused nonbacterial agents. The bacteria tested for their in-vitro susceptibility different antimicrobial agents that are used commercial intramammary infusion products. Antibacterial testing showed sensitive ciprofloxacin (100%), enrofloxacin (96%), cefotaxime (90%), deoxicillin (88.8%), clorophenicol (66.5), ampicillin (62.5%), amoxicillin (50%), vancomycin (42%) fusidic acid (33.3%). According these results, proved be drug choice.

Impact of subclinical and clinical mastitis on sensitivity to pain of dairy cows.
A total of 90 cows from three commercial farms were used to evaluate the relationship between subclinical mastitis and clinical mastitis and thermal nociceptive threshold. Milk strips from all udder quarters were tested for clinical mastitis with visual inspection of milk and udder alterations and for subclinical mastitis using California Mastitis Test. Milk yield was recorded, milk was sampled...

Staphylococci isolated from 98 mastitic cow’s milk samples were analyzed for the production of alpha, beta and delta-hemolysin on sheep, bovine and horse red blood cells and in vitro susceptibility to several antimicrobial agents. Out of a total of 18 isolated strains, 100% demonstrated hemolytic activity either alone or in combined forms. Among 8 isolates of S. aureus 3 isolates produced α/β an...

متن کاملRelationship between in vitroantimicrobial sensitivity of bovine subclinical mastitis isolates and treatment outcome in lactating dairy cows
The objective of the present study was to determine whether there was an association between the in vitroantimicrobial sensitivity test results of subclinical mastitis pathogensand bacteriological cure following intramammary treatment using a combination of nafcillin, penicillin, and streptomycin (NPS). Eighty-six intramammary pathogens from 43 cows were examined inthis study. Most intramammary...
